Me tooooo! Loved your The Disasters! Gave it to my queer kid, but they're a freshman in college now and trying to focus on school. Thanks for your words. Love em.
Whoa, synchronicity! I love your work, Amie, and just popped into Substack to see what you've been up to, and I see a nod to MK England (loooved The Disasters)! Much love all around! Keep that good shit up!!
I’m exited to start a new Christmas tradition with my family- it’s a German tradition where you hide a pickle ornament and whoever finds it gets an extra mystery gift. I’m thinking of just modifying it to whoever finds it gets to open presents first- I don’t want my kids fighting over an ornament and to turn my living room into a WWE ring. 😂
Ash! (a) this is an amazing tradition and (b) this sounds like a very wise modification and (c) I am WAY behind on drawing giveaway winners, but you won this one! Look out for an email from my assistant in the next few days, checking your mailing address.
Looking forward to setting up the Christmas village under the tree (best part of the tree in my opinion) and then reading in front of said tree on the couch. 🎄
I am excited to spend time with my family exploring Boston. None of us live there, so it's going to be quite an adventure. It might be my father's last Christmas that he'll be able to travel because of his dementia so we are definitely going to make it a memorable experience. I also plan on reading as well and buying books at some wonderful bookstores I've found online in Boston.
Thank you so much for the shoutout, Amie. We live in *interesting* times, unfortunately, but I'm beyond excited for Lady's Knight!

I'm so glad that book is still finding readers so many years later! Give my best wishes to your kid--may they be safe and happy in these times. ♥

I was glad to have some much-needed time with family!
Themed Christmas party!!
I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and friends and taking a very much needed break from college courses!
I love having family over for the holidays because it makes me feel surrounded by love. I also adore cooking and baking and getting compliments for it

Looking forward to Christmas movies and Christmas food and family time, though we will be few this year. <3

One thing? How about get this year behind us! : )
I'm most excited to visit my grandparents' house because they have a massive fireplace that is just perfect for reading books in front of!
I'm excited to spend time at home with my family and my three cats.
I can’t wait to spend time with my family filled with joy and a lot of good food🙈😋
I can't wait to have some time to myself without the stress of school and having more time to read and be with my family

I'm so excited for a break from school and homework and more time to spend time with friends and family, go to the beach and read many more books
