Services like this are basically a forwarding service -- you sign up with them, and they give you a US physical address, which is the one you use to claim. Then, once something arrives there, they shoot you an email to say 'we've got a package that weighs X and is X size, here are all your shipping options', and you choose one, then you pay to ship it to yourself. I'm definitely not an expert on these -- Aussies use them sometimes to buy things that won't ship from the US to Australia -- and there are lots of services like it.
